Best Britpop/Alternative since the Manic Street Preachers

Listen. To. That. Band. Best Britpop/Alternative I heard since the Manics. I mean really... It is bands like Abel & Cain that make me wonder why for heaven’s sake won’t they get the full blast of attention they deserve. Here’s my note to the band: Please send me a note via your Songpier (https://songpier.com/abelandcain) asap when your album or EP or whatever is out. I’m queueing up right now. Honestly, this is no promotion or marketing bull$§%. This fits my personal music collection like a glove.

More surprisingly, it was the German Music Council who found out about the potential of Abel&Cain and invited them to a live-audit. Jury members of Udo Dahmen (formerly with “Kraan”), Henning Rümenapp (“Guano Apes”), Dieter Schubert (Head of A.S.S. Concerts) amongst others chose Abel & Cain as one of five bands to participate in in the high level band-coaching project “PopCamp”. This premium sponsorship program is funded by the German Federal Government Commissioner for Culture and Media.

And it was their first gig ever.

Right now, they’re in the studio producing an EP – and watch out for their first tour in October 2011!
