Moonalice to open for U2 - and they're using Songpier!

No, it's no typo. We are thrilled to announce that Songpier supporters Moonalice (http://www.moonalice.com) are opening for U2. See them play the Oakland Coliseum over in sunny California on June 7th!

Moonalice have been using Songpier right from the start: "As soon as I read about Songpier in Wired, I could see the potential and wanted Moonalice to be the first band in the US to leverage this, so I talked the Songpier guys into letting the band be a part of the closed beta test” says the band's social media maven Gail Barnes. The Songpier camp is immensely proud to feature a band like Moonalice, weighing in at 60.000 fans on Facebook.

Now, everyone out there - spread the word, share Moonalice's apps! Guys, we're looking forward to hear your reports on June 8th... on a side note: I so wish I could make it. But apart from the fact I'm in Germany, I have a ticket for Rob Zombie. Duh.
