The Raveonettes join Songpier

About 10 years ago I stumbled across The Raveonettes' first mini album Whip It On. I did know nothing about them but the striking, 60s-B-movie like card sleeve in black & white & red made the cut. Upon first listening, I thought WTF?!? The music was as raw as the cover design pretended, songs as short as a razor's sharp. You may think of The White Stripes now. Forget it. This was more of The White Stripes meets David Lynch. The Raveonettes new EP "Into The Night" is to be released on April 24 - and they're better than ever. Last week we launched yet again some features you asked for. You might have noticed that it's difficult to find a background picture fitting all formats, portrait and landscape. Enter: the Switching Picture Editor. Have a look at the "Appearance" section in your account, and there are two frames to choose different or similar images for background use. But, it's a portrait and a landscape image, and both of them can be shifted to fit the screen. Turn your mobile, and the picture changes. But this is a premiere - René Pickhardt, Online Music Marketing Consultant with metal band In Legend (http://www.inlegend.de) has joined our team! Meeting him at Mannheim Future Music Camp first and keeping contact clearly showed that he would contribute a lot to our team.
